Specisoft has submitted a proposal to the “COMPETENCE CENTERS” programme of the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation jointly with other companies and the AGRICULTURAL University

Specisoft has submitted a proposal, jointly with the Agricultural University of Athens and other companies, to the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation for the founding and operation of a Competence Center under the name “Smart Agro Hub”, which will be a center of competence, specialisation and innovation in smart agriculture and new technologies, based on the call for the action.

As is known, the objectives of the action on the part of the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation include, among others, promoting innovation in domestic entrepreneurship, exchanging knowledge and expertise and creating cooperation networks with businesses, orienting businesses towards products and services of high added value, developing outward-looking entrepreneurship and training businesses to acquire skills in industry, with an emphasis on technologies of the 4th industrial revolution etc.

With the creation of the competence center in digital technologies and agriculture, emphasis will be placed, through entrepreneurship, product promotion and training, on a wide range of activities, such as smart agriculture, energy saving, agriculture under controlled conditions, traceability etc. These are areas of interest for Specisoft, which is steadily expanding its activities.

With its many years of experience and its eyes on developments, the specialised software development company Specisoft hopes to contribute to the valuable work of the competence center, which will create fertile ground for the development of innovations and new technologies.
