Specisoft has published two new books, the first of the new series with the general title “THE SCIENCE OF BUSINESS”, adding to the company’s Entrepreneurship library. The books, written by Mr Vasilis Filios, professor at the University of Patras, stand out for their uniqueness and their Handbook structure, for immediate use and great ease of use.
Thanks to their broad and at the same time specialised subject matter, and to Specisoft’s know-how, the two books are valuable tools for business executives and for universities. The two volumes, entitled “Management of Businesses and Enterprises” (A Handbook on Management) and “Topics in the Economics and Management of Enterprises and Businesses” (A Handbook of Business Administration), fill a large gap in the Greek literature.
They deal with modern aspects of Management and Business Administration, focusing among other things on topics such as Management in the Future, Leadership, Direction and Communication, Zero-Base Budgeting, Corporate Planning Models, The Price – Cost Relationship in Pricing, The Cost of Forecasting Errors, Audit Fees in relation to Sales, Off-Balance-Sheet Assets and Liabilities etc. The books take a modern approach to many subject areas beyond those mentioned.
