Specisoft S.A. has been selected to take part in an important pan-European group of partners in cooperation with the Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT) of the CENTRE FOR RESEARCH & TECHNOLOGY HELLAS for Horizon Europe 2021.
In particular, the innovation proposal in which Specisoft S.A. participates concerns physical and digital infrastructure which, through digital connectivity and cooperation, enables and supports automated mobility. The innovative project concerns the study of adapted infrastructure, with physical and digital upgrading, for automated mobility systems and services in mixed traffic with conventional vehicles and other road users and modes of transport. The description and development of physical and digital infrastructure services for automated mobility systems and services, and the agreed classification of their support levels, create the environment for European and global harmonisation and for the classification of supporting infrastructure.
The proposal, submitted by a consortium of European organisations in which Specisoft S.A. participates together with the Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT) of the CENTRE FOR RESEARCH & TECHNOLOGY HELLAS, embraces the need to create innovative ideas for the sustainable organisation of the necessary co-management, of cooperative investments and of the common – European/Global – application of cooperative, connected and automated mobility. To achieve the expected result, a large international team of highly specialised cooperating partners was formed, such as Universities, semi-public bodies, innovation companies and laboratories, which will work on this programme.
It is worth noting that Specisoft S.A. is an SME focused on developing solutions (software and hardware) for various vertical sectors (specifically utilities, smart / liveable cities etc.) through advanced wireless networking, cloud / IoT, big data and artificial intelligence (AI). The company’s strategy is to win an important position in the international market for specialised software, where building knowledge into the programs plays the leading role.
With its many years of experience and its eyes on developments, the specialised software development company Specisoft S.A. hopes to contribute to the valuable Horizon Europe 2021 innovation project AUGMENTED CCAM, which will create fertile ground for the development of innovative tools and new technologies.
