Specisoft S.A. is taking part in the innovation project AUGMENTED CCAM – 101069717 on physical and digital infrastructure for Horizon Europe 2021, in which an important pan-European group of partners is working together with the Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT) of the CENTRE FOR RESEARCH & TECHNOLOGY HELLAS.
In particular, the proposal approved for funding was submitted by a consortium of European organisations in which Specisoft S.A., among others, participates. The aim of the innovative project is to study adapted infrastructure, with physical and digital upgrading, for automated mobility systems and services in mixed traffic with conventional vehicles and other road users and modes of transport. The description and development of physical and digital infrastructure services for automated mobility systems and services, and the agreed classification of their support levels, create the environment for European and global harmonisation and for the classification of supporting infrastructure.
It is worth noting that the project embraces the need to create innovative ideas for the sustainable organisation of the necessary co-management, of cooperative investments and of the common – European/Global – application of cooperative, connected and automated mobility. To achieve the expected result, a large international team of specialised cooperating partners has been formed, such as Universities, semi-public bodies, innovation companies and laboratories, which will work across the whole project.
