The «Specisoft – Υποβολές» (Specisoft – Submissions) extension for Chrome and Edge is provided by SPECISOFT and works only together with the Specisoft platform. It helps the platform’s user submit a company’s annual financial statements to the IRIS system of the Bank of Greece.

What data it handles

When the user presses «Submit with the extension» in the Specisoft platform, the extension receives from the platform:

  • the company’s TaxisNet user name and password, as the user entered them in the platform,
  • the submission file (a zip with the Excel of the financial data and the accompanying PDFs),
  • the company’s name, to show it in its messages.

The extension collects no other data. It does not read the browsing history, does not track the user’s activity and does not read the content of other web pages.

How it uses it

Solely to fill in the TaxisNet sign-in form (gsis.gr) and to attach the file on the IRIS submission screen (iris.bankofgreece.gr), in the tab the extension itself opened for that submission. The extension does not press «Sign in» or «Submit»: the user makes the submission.

Where and for how long it keeps it

Only in the browser’s memory (chrome.storage.session), never on disk. The credentials are deleted as soon as they are filled in, and the file as soon as it is attached. Anything left is deleted when the submission tab closes, when the browser closes and, in any case, after 15 minutes.

Who it is shared with

No one beyond the two sites where the user makes the submission (TaxisNet and IRIS). The extension sends no data to Specisoft or to third parties, contains no analytics or advertising and loads no remote code.

Permissions it asks for

  • Access to iris.bankofgreece.gr and gsis.gr, to fill in and attach.
  • Access to the Specisoft platform’s pages, to receive the user’s instruction.
  • Temporary storage in the browser’s memory, as described above.
