Specisoft, the specialised software development company, took part, represented by its chairman Mr Theoklis Vasileiadis, in the proceedings of the second Panhellenic Accounting Conference, held online on Wednesday 24 April.
In particular, Specisoft took part in the 6th session of the conference, which was devoted to digital technology. In his talk, which focused on the path to digitalisation, Mr Vasileiadis highlighted the close interaction between human cognition and artificial intelligence. The presentation pointed out the essential link between the work of the accountant-economist and the use of computer systems and suitable software, which leads to faster, more complete and more effective handling of daily tasks.
Among important topical issues in accounting, Mr Vasileiadis referred to the era of the Knowledge Economy and the 4th industrial revolution we are living through, pointing out that artificial intelligence contributes significantly to improving software systems, offering smart answers to complex questions, providing large-scale analyses through the use of Analytics and extracting valuable knowledge from data.
Through its participation in the 2nd Panhellenic Accounting Conference, Specisoft set the tone for a new era in accounting practice, in which digital technology and artificial intelligence shape an environment where work becomes ever more efficient and flexible, allowing professionals to focus on more creative and analytical processes.
